Kardashian Inspired Kolors

Have you ever wanted to wear a Kardashian on your nails? Now you can!! Nicole by OPI announced on the 11th that they will be featuring a Kardashian inspired collection. The collection contains 14 colors that range from a creamy white to a multi-colored glitter, and lots in between. The Nail Lacquers contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde.  They also promise to be long-lasting and fast-drying salon-quality polishes, with the Perfect Stroke brush for streak-free coverage. Like most other Nicole by OPI lacquers, these babies will go for $7.99 each(11.00CAD). Not only are the colors very stylish, but the names are really cute! My favorite is Khloe Has A Little Lam-Lam.

This collection gets an A+ from me, solely based on color selection of course. I only own one Nicole by OPI polish now, but I really like the brush and the formula. Its the One Less Lonely Glitter, from the Justin Bieber Collection. I can't wait to get my hands on these colors!! I can already see myself layering the glitters over the matching solids. The only downfall about the Kardashian Collection is that they wont be available until the holiday season. The rumor going around online pins the release date to be November 25. At least I have time to save $$. I already know I want the entire collection.

Jeffrey Campbell: 99 Tie Wedge

First let me start off by saying.. "I would die for a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes right now!!" When I first set eyes on the popular Lita Platform Boot, I was a little undecided on how I felt about them. Since then, I've been seeing them on everyone's feet and feeling a little left out. All the JC shoes that I have seen online go for about $115 & up. I don't even own a pair of shoes that are more than $90, and I only paid that because they were Nike Shox! I've just never been the type to spend a lot on shoes because I can find so many cute inexpensive ones. I decided I'm going to try to invest on some cute JC booties to wear during fall, since its way to hot to wear booties right now. I live in one of the hottest places I'm sure, the temp reaches to about 112-113. Anyway I found these way cute wedges by Jeffrey that I'm debating on..

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink!!

So I stumbled across a blog cleverly named, On Wednesdays We Wear Pink. I love the Mean Girls movie of course, so I wanted to join in on the fun. I probably won't do a pink nail look every wednesday, but maybe every first wednesday of the month. Here's my first pink wednesday..

For this look I used..

-Sinful Colors 24/7 
Walgreens, $1.99
-OPI Teenage Dream 
Trade Secret,
 $8.50  


I had to use three coats of the 24/7 color because it was coming out kinda streaky. The picture doesn't do the color justice though, because its soo freakin neon on my nails. Makes my hands look super dark lol. After the three coats I used one coat of Teenage Dream, and no top coat. Anyway, if you love pink, polish, or Mean Girls go check out the blog!

New Show to Watch: Nail Files

I was browsing through channels when I saw something called Nail Files on the TVGuide Network. So I tuned in and watched a couple of episodes and it turns out I really like it. Its a show about small business owner, Katie Cazorla. The show is based in Los Angeles, which is where her business The Painted Nail is located. Nail Files promises to be full of celebrities, drama, and secrets behind the success of The Painted Nail. One of the episodes I watched had Rap/Hip Hop artist Too Short(One of My Faves BTW). Katie even did this really funny booty shaking for him.

To sum it up, its pretty entertaining and shows "the behind the scenes" of a woman owning a small business in the beauty industry. Cazorla is pretty crazy, a little dramatic, and really inspiring to someone who wants to own their own business in the beauty industry. Baby Pink & Houndstooth Hearts

I was in desperate need of a polish change!! That beings said, I went into my bag of tricks to see what I could find. Excuse the mess on a couple of my nails, I didn't wait for them to fully dry, hee hee. Here are the results...

Ok, so for this look I paired the baby pink with the houndstooth to make it a little bit softer. Lots of other colors would work with this, but I didn't want to go too dark since it is summertime.
